To finally get to the root cause of your digestive issues, stool testing is a great way to find answers, more quickly than trying new diets and supplements and hoping that they work.

This microbiome labs stool test called BiomeFx sequences all of the DNA in your stool sample and maps that to the functions of those genes, which gives us a good overview of what functions in your intestines are working well, and which ones need some rebalancing.

Based on your results, I will make a comprehensive diet, lifetsyle and supplement plan for you to follow over the next 3-6 months. Root-cause healing takes deep investigation, awareness, holistic approaches, and time. Sorry, there’s no magic pill, but there are however, very powerful tools that can be used in combination, in the right order, to reset and restore your digestive system, including your microbiome- because let’s be honest, they are doing most of the work down there- helping us make B vitamins, K2, and our neurotransmitters like serotonin and GABA, regulating metabolism, recycling estrogen, activating T3 (thyroid hormone), metabolizing bile, absorbing nutrients, and regulating blood sugar… to name a few. 😉

FAQs

How much do these stool tests cost?

The microbiome labs stool test is $450 USD. I also offer a different test that uses the same genetic sequencing technique (whole genome sequencing), that gives you a snapshot of Bacteria + parasites + viruses + fungi and functional microbiome profiling. The Vitract DeepGut is $300 USD. For people who are just curious about their bacterial imbalances (which accounts for 95% of your microbiome), there is also another option called Vitract GutScan, which is only $130 USD. I generally like to use the whole genome sequencing tests because they give broader and more specific insights into what is going on in your gut on a species level and what other pathogens may exist (protozoa, funghi, viruses, parasites). There is also a vaginal microbiome testing option with microbiome labs.

Where do these stool tests ship to?

The microbiome labs and Vitract tests are currently only available in North America, but I have other options that ship internationally.

How much is the follow up consultation?

After the initial cost of the stool test, a 60-minute consultation where I go over your results and key findings is free! If you would like a follow-up comprehensive diet, lifetsyle and supplement plan to address these findings, I offer 90-minute follow-up sessions, that are $199 USD.
