Heather helps change-makers suffering from bloating, fatigue and brain fog (driven by gut imbalances) resolve their symptoms, calm IBS flares, and rediscover their body’s wisdom. She uses many tools including nutrition, herbs, supplements, cutting-edge probiotics, nervous system exercises and somatic practices to rebalance the digestive system with evidence-based, holistic, individual recovery plans and coaching so that they can return to living the healthiest life of their dreams. She is based in Vancouver, BC on the traditional and unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

She has experienced the pain and frustration of having chronic painful bloating, weird bowel movements, and brain fog reactions to different foods. She did so much research and yet things still didn’t click until she combined certain therapies and diets together and drastically lowered her stress and inflammation levels. Near the end of the healing protocol, she actually went on a 10-day backpacking trip with her trustee supplements, and now husband (they love the mountains), which really helped to reset her nervous system.

My story:

I struggled with a concussion back in 2017, then mold toxicity, and then months of painful bloating that was eventually diagnosed as a case of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). After months of researching and trying new diets and supplements, I realized I needed to fully commit to my healing plan. I made a full recovery after digging into the research and building new habits around food, herbs, stress, and self-care. I felt so inspired by what I had learned that I became a certified gut health practitioner to help guide people through a proven gut-restoration framework.

I am also studying to become a holistic nutritionist, and am always taking extra courses like diagnostic lab analysis, and enjoy reviewing client’s bloodwork, breath tests and stool tests to give us a clearer picture of which organs and systems need more support. Ultimately, the goal is to restore balance to the gut and nervous system with the perfect gut restoration plan suited for you.

Healing takes time and daily commitment to new habits. This is why I offer a few paths for working together. I offer 3-week gut-brain reset challenges in a small group settings, and 4-month private coaching programs, where we dig deep into personalized rebalancing plans, to fully rebalance and restore your microbiome and digestive system, so you can get the most out of what you are putting into your body, on a physical and energetic level.
I also offer follow-up maintenance sessions, as there are deeper layers of healing that can be done once the gut is back in order. I help clients work on their adrenals, liver, hormones, and detox etc, with holistic nutrition, herbs, and supplement recommendations.
