Maybe it’s a little bit of bloating after certain meals, or maybe it’s a lot of bloating that gets worse throughout the day. Maybe it’s becoming so embarrassing that you are struggling to find clothes that will hide your bloated belly and you are turning down social invites. I know how much it sucks. There are answers and it is my mission to provide them to as many people as possible. IBS is preventable and reversible!

Still reading? Ok great, I’m going to give you a sneak peek into my 6-step restoration system. After a comprehensive intake form plus a few at-home tests, your plan will involve the following pieces. (Stool testing is an option but not required.) The order is important here, but know that this system has layers to it, and can be adapted for deeper rounds of healing.
Step 1: Nervous system work. We assess your nervous system tendencies, build awareness, and create new habits that will gently train your nervous system into remembering how to be in and accept safety. This will help tone the nervous system’s rest and digest mode. 🧘♀️
Step 2: Assess stool frequency, transit time, and quality and then clear out any lingering constipation and/or support loose bowel movements.
Step 3: Weed the gut imbalances out. This can look different depending on the person. It may involve a personalized diet, anti-microbial herbs if SIBO is suspected, and/or anti-fungal herbs if fungal overgrowth is suspected. This step may also involve lowering systemic inflammation with immunoglobulins, binders, and anti-microbial probiotics. (Yes, that’s a thing).
Step 4: Heal the gut lining. 🍵 This is key to lower systemic inflammation and reduce food sensitivities.
Step 5: Identify food sensitivities and retrain fibre tolerance. This may involve an elimination diet, low-FODMAP diet (short-term only) or elemental diet, depending on symptoms. 🔎 Fibre tracking and diversification of diet will follow. The end goal is complete food freedom!
Step 6: Replenish the gut with healthy microbes, and feed them properly. 🥗 This is kind of two steps in one, but it is kind of a waste of probiotics if we are not feeding them the right source of food. We add in specific foods and fibres that feed the strains we are adding in. We use evidence-based probiotics customized to your symptoms, based on clinical trials and the latest research. Spore-based bacillus strains are key here.
After 3-4 months of hard work, I want to ensure you have the tools to maintain Gut-friendly lifestyle, so I include a bunch of educational workbooks, recipes, pantry checklists, and video lessons so that you can feel confident in continuing to thrive with your rebalanced gut and gut-brain connection.
